Junk in the Trunk - from Dogs in Helicopters

Junk in the Trunk - by Zen Fuse Box - from the album Dogs in Helicopters

I went down to the river

To see what I could see

A fish in the river started talking to me

I asked if the world was upside down

'Cause the fish in the river don't be goin' around

Talkin' at folk like they folk and such

He said that it really didn't matter too much

He had the power to grant wishes

If I didn't mind talkin' to fishes

He whipped up Love Potion #9

Guaranteed to make the shorties all jump in line

Threw some cash all around the banks

Tossed in a ride

I said thanks

The ladies on the shore started calling to me

They called me over, to have a look-see

It happened all so suddenly

Just like Paris, I picked an aphrodite

Hopped in the ride, headed down the road

It was universally acknowleged

Had the car, the cash

All I needed was a hottie

Junk in the trunk

High in the heels

Thin in the middle

Cakes on the griddle

She asked me all about this magical fish

Begged me and begged me to have a wish

Went back to the river

She wanted me to

I asked the fish for a thing or two

He said "ok, but now we're through"

All she wanted was a castle

Went back to the river

To get my baby what she needs

'Cause for my baby

My heart bleeds

Junk in the trunk

High in the heels

Thin in the middle

Cakes on the griddle

Bee stung lips

Thunder thighs

Kickin' hips

Easy on the eyes

That girl of mine

Just wouldn't be content

So back to the river

This damn fool went

Didn't want the fish

To cause no scene

Gave her a castle

Now she wanted to be queen

All along the river

The storm raged

I felt like an animal

That had been caged

I called to the fish one more time

Like I was involved in some kind of crime

I asked if my baby could have the crown

The fish said no

He turned me down

Everything went back

The way it used to be

No car, no cash and no baby

Went back to the river

To get my baby what she needs

'Cause for my baby

My heart bleeds

Junk in the trunk

Thunder thighs

Thin in the middle

Kickin' hips

Easy on the eyes

Junk in the trunk

High in the heels

Thin in the middle

Cakes on the griddle

And that was all she wrote
