Our latest musical output has been released! It's called CONFUSED - THE EP. It was unleashed on December 3, 2013 in advance of our upcoming full-length CD, Dogs in Helicopters. The track listing is:
1. CONFUSED - this is slated to be the lead-off track on our upcoming CD, Dogs in Helicopters, which is projected for release in early 2014. Steve wrote this tune for the band and the song was featured in a performance with the Preston Contemporary Dance Theatre, which can be viewed on YouTube.
2. ROSES RED - written by Peter, this song appeared on our first album, Zero Down Time. This song was featured on radio in the United Kingdom.
3. JUNK IN THE TRUNK - another tune from the upcoming CD. The music was written by Rich, and the lyrics by Peter, who based his words on the story The Magic Fish.
4. HOLES IN MY NOSE - An improvised blues from a recorded jam session back when ZFB was known as the Meare's Pond Quartet.
5. SILLY STUFF - written by Steve, this was the first track on Zero Down Time.
6. VARIATIONS ON AHH VOODOO JOORAY - another blues jam from the Meare's Pond Quartet days.
7. POLAR BARE - a brief, previously unreleased guitar jam by Steve and Rich.
8. CONFUSED (acoustic demo) - Steve's original demo recording of "Confused," which has been previously unreleased and differs considerably from the final version.
