From the recording STROLLIN' (sample clip)

According to Peter, "Strollin' was the debut song for my young
songwriting skill talents. An old acquaintance told me when I
learned guitar that I should work towards writing my own stuff at once.
The feel is alt-country and the lyrics are semi-surrealistic. Old "Green
Acres" episodes come to mind as an influence. Lines like "I can't see
her the time that she's away" are either deeply existential or perhaps
merely idiotic statements of the obvious."
